Consultations on daily life in Kyoto are available in 6 languages. Please feel free to contact us with such daily life concerns such as finding hospitals or the education of your children. We can also refer you to other consultation services when necessary.

Visa Consultation
You can speak to a judicial scrivener (a public legal expert) regarding matters such as extending your period of stay or changing your status of residence.

Fourth Sunday of every month

13：00-16：00 （30 minutes per consultation）

An appointment is required. (Please make an appointment by Web form or fax.)
Whenever possible, please contact us at least one week in advance.
Making an appointment
When making an appointment by fax, please write your name, telephone number, fax number, nationality, gender, status of residence, period of stay, consultation matter (please describe in detail), whether or not you need an interpreter, and if so, which language.
(Depending on the language there may be some cases where we are unable to provide an interpreter.)

You can consult about daily life or finding a job.
(We also provide employment consultations for businesses in Kyoto Prefecture interested in hiring international students.)
