Translation
■Center for Multicultural Information and Assistance Kyoto
The Center for Multicultural Information and Assistance Kyoto helps non-native speakers of Japanese who live in Japan by offering translation services for documents necessary for life in Japanese society free of charge to the client.
For example, translations can be done of marriage registrations and family registries (to support the individual), as well as notices from the local government and schools, guidebooks to life in Japan, and pamphlets (to support communication in the community).
Languages available: English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malay, Thai, and Filipino

This facility, in cooperation with various municipalities, educational institutions, NPOs, NGOs, and businesses, offers a variety of community services, such as information distribution in several languages, translation, and interpretation.
Languages include:
English, Korean, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Vietnamese, Portuguese, Spanish, Tagalog, Indonesian, Thai, Russian, Malay, Nepalese, Myanmar, Cambodian, Turkish, Persian, German, French, Italian, and Urdu.
